Greetings Happy Time Squares Members-
What a roaring good time we had at our Roaring Twenties Dance! A number of dancers were dressed in period attire which added to the fun of the great tunes Vic had selected. Judy selected some great lines that fit right into our theme which was very nicely enhanced with the decorations provided by Betty Guder and her team. We thoroughly enjoyed Vernon's round dances prior to his official retirement as a cuer.
Guest tips were called by Sam Hunsaker and Diana Wagner with Lynn Nelson sharing a tip with Vic. Our round dancers were treated to a special guest round dance cued by Julie Pigg.
We are finalizing lodging plans for the State Convention which is quickly approaching; information will be sent out soon. Don't forget that the National Convention in Oklahoma City is not far behind. Links to websites for both are located on our website.
Attached you will find the dance calendars for both April and May. There are some great dance opportunities coming up and we encourage you to get out there and dance!
Next month's dance is our Mother's Day Dance on May 11th. We look forward to seeing you all there, but hope to see many of you before that at other area dances.
