Merry Christmas To All!

Fellow members of Happy Time Squares -

We've a short report before we sign off for Christmas!

Soup Supper

Seventy-five members and guests gathered Monday night for a Soup Supper hosted by Centenary United Methodist Church!   It was a real treat to enjoy the food and fellowship, and to take an opportunity to visit the Festival of the Nativities.

We thank the people of Centenary for opening their Festival to us and for the delicious soup supper.   We also thank all of the members of HTS who supported the Church by attending the soup supper.   (All proceeds went to the church.)

Thank You Letter from Vic

Happy Time Squares has received a letter from Vic Perry thanking the membership for the Christmas bonus he received at our last dance.

In addition to asking us to send his thank you to all members, Vic added the following message:

Donna and I feel very blessed to have the privilege of being your caller and taw and want you to know that we consider it a great honor.
Our hope and prayer is that each member of our Happy Time Squares family will have a very blessed Christmas and a very prosperous New Year.
Thanks to all again,

Vic

Two special events coming up

After Christmas there will be two special events that we know you will enjoy:

Bob and Rosalee Rainbolt 50th Anniversary Party

Bob and Rosalee invite all of you to celebrate with them on December 27 at the West Campus of the United Methodist Church.   This is where we normally dance, and the party is from 4 to 6 p.m.   Vic Perry will emcee, and we hope to get the opportunity to dance to Vic, Wade and Vernon.   You can look at the flyer   here.

Dress is casual and the Bob and Rosalee request no gifts, please.   We hope to see you there.

New Year's Eve in Ottawa

One way to celebrate New Year's Eve is to join Vic & Donna Perry for a dinner and dance at the United Methodist Church in Ottawa.   This party is sponsored by the Pioneer Plus Club, but this party will be a Mainstream dance.   The festivities begin at 8:00 p.m. and the charge is $10/person.   You will enjoy a delicious dinner prepared by club members and some fun skits by Max and Betty Randall.

It's a great way to bring in the New Year.

Sorry, this wasn't such a short report after all!

We wish all of you a most wonderful Christmas!
