Having just had our fund raiser, we all know how important they are to keep our club running financially. Several clubs will be having their annual fund raisers in the next two months. It's important that we reciprocate the good turnout we had by attending some of their fund raisers. Here are a few you might consider attending.
Saturday, October 3, Swinging Squares will have their Turkey Dinner Dance at Croco Hall. Full turkey dinner starts being served at 6:00pm. Plus dancing will be at 7:30 and mainstream at 8:00pm. Larry Crady and Jay Krebs will be calling.
Friday, October 23, Wheatheart Squares will have their Octoberfest Dance at Croco Hall. They will start serving a complete German meal at 6:00 and dancing at 7:30pm. Larry Crady will be calling.
Saturday, November 7, Ottawa Promenaders will have their annual Pig Roast. It will be at Celebration Hall, at the Fairgrounds off West 17th Street. They'll start serving the meal at 5:30pm with the dance beginning at 7:30. Our own Vic Perry will be calling.
Tuesday, November 17, the Shawnee Swingin' Singles will be having their Annual Thanksgiving Dinner & Dance. They dance at Old Shawnee Town Hall, 11600 Johnson Drive, in Shawnee. The meal will be served at 6:00 and the dance will begin at 7:30pm. Jay Krebs will be calling.
