Travel Dance Report -- Top-Kan Twirlers

WOW!!!   What a wonderful turnout for the Happy Time Squares travel to Top-Kan Twirlers last night.   I'm not sure if it was because we wanted to return the generosity of Top-Kan for canceling their dance last September, so as not to conflict with our fund raiser, or the enticement of pie and homemade ice cream. Which ever it was, we had 47 dancers flood the floor with a sea of red.   It was a fun night of dancing to Dana Schirmer and Top-Kan's round dance cuer for the evening, our very own HTS member, Vernon Nelson.   He and Toni filled the floor with both new and veteran round dancers.   After receiving gifts of gratitude from the Top-Kan Twirlers, the last round was cued by retiring Wally Kelly.   Word has it, he and his wife, Annie, plan to do a lot of traveling.   I believe a good time was had by all.   Thanks again for making our job as travel chairs so easy.
