Twenty-four Happy Time Squares members along with six dual members, plus several other Ottawa Promenaders traveled to Emporia's Bluestem Swingers on Saturday night, April 24 for a great evening of dancing.   Our own Vic Perry was guest caller and in his usual good form, pulling out a few songs we had not heard in a while, and threw in some very interesting patters.   His stacked calls on some tips really kept us moving.

Bluestem's Betty Skillett cued a Round between tips to a crowded floor.

It is always neat to have visiting callers on the dance floor and we had five:   Wade Morrow, Dale Stead, Larry Stock, Diana Wagner, and Kerry Wallace dancing with us!

The Bluestem Swingers were gracious hosts, laying out a huge table of goodies and fed us well.  

It was fun to join the Promenaders for one large march of two clubs to steal or retrieve banners.

Our Travel Chairs, Ace & Lareeda enticed a good turnout of HTS dancers.   As Lareeda remarked "The drive was worth it!"

Thanks to all HTS dancers who came out for the long drive down to Emporia, and another great travel dance.
